Trainer Price stated that Cuddle would start in the Doncaster Handicap in which he would be ridden by McCarten. Whether the New Zealander would run in the Sydney Cup would depend upon her Doncaster performance. Won by four lengths, two lengths. OUTSIDER OWNED BY CURATE’S WIFE (Received 27th March, 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, 26th March. Mrs C. F. Royds, a curate’s wife, who does not bet, owns Pink Coat, the outsider which won the hurdle race at Liverpool. She and her husband, both equestrians, watched the race with the keenest excitement. She took up racing last year when she won at Cardiff. She has two horses in training.
