SIR LEICESTER HARMSWORTH
A REMARKABLE MAN (By Air Mail—From Our Own Correspondent) LONDON, 20th . February. Though he has figured less in the public eye than, some of his brothers, Sir Leicester Harmsworth, whose illness is causing some' anxiety, is a remarkable man. He is one of the greatest amateur experts on Japanese prints, of which lie has a valuable collection, and his library is said to bo the finost in private ownership. He sat in tho House of Commons for many years as member for Caithness, but was a silent member, and since ho gave up his seat on his constituency being merged, he taken no part in politics. Ho likes to “underplay his hand”, by disowning more than the averago knowledge of subjects of which he is an expert.
