WOMAN RESCUED FROM HARBOUR
AUCKLAND, This Day. A single woman,' Elsie May Anderson, aged 23 years, residing "with her parents in Dominion road, was rescued fi oni the harbour fully clothed, swimming near the Orakei Bridge on the waterfront road at 0.30 o’clock this morning.' She was removed to hospital where she died at 8.30 o’clock. At the inquest before Air Hunt her father, Charles Edward Anderson, giving evidence as to her identity, said he last saw his daughter alive at r l 1 o’clock last night when lie asked her to post some letters. She was then in her usual health and spirits. When her mother went to call her this morn- ; ing the daughter was found not to have been in bed.
I he inquest was adjourned pending a loetor’s report as to the cause of leath.
