ATTITUDE OF NEW ZEALAND COMMENT BY PRIME MINISTER (By .Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. “It is true that we are consulting with the Commonwealth,” said the Prime Minister (the Hon. M. J. Savage), commenting upon the cable message yesterday from Canberra referring to subsidised shipping. “Our interests are similar to those of the Commonwealth, and I think we should he able to come to an arrangement satisfactory to the Commonwealth, to us, and the shipping interests.”
