INCREASE IN DECEMBER (British Official Wireless; RUGBY, 29th January. The value of retail trade in December was 9.1 per cent, higher than in December, .1934. Stocks were 0.6 per cent, lower than a year earlier 'and employment 3.3 per cent, greater. Total sales in the 11 months ’ from February to December, 1935, were 6.1 pfir cent, in excess of those for the corresppnding period of 1934.
