VISITORS TO THE PALACE
RECEIVED BY THE KING RUGBY, 29th January. The King received at'/Buckingham Palace to-day a number of visitors, including foreign statesmen in London in connection with the funeral of King George. One of the earliest callers was the Foreign Secretary, Mr Anthony Eden. Later the King gave audience to Prince Starheniberg, the Austrian Vice-Chancellor, Baron von Neuratli, tlie German Foreign Minister, M. Litvinov, Soviet Commissar for Foreign Affairs, M. Titulescu, Rumanian Foreign Minister, and others. Many of these foreign statesmen also paid courtesy calls on the Prime Minister, Mr Stanley Baldwin, and had interviews with the Foreign Secretary, Mr Anthony Eden.
