HOUSE OF COMMONS
TO REASSEMBLE NEXT WEEK RENEWED PROVISION FOR CIVIL LIST (Received 31st January, 11.50 a.m.) RUGBY, 30th January. Parliament re-assembles on Tuesday. Yesterday’s meeting of the Cabinet discussed the programme before the House of Commons and reviewed the international situation. The first business of Parliament will be to receive a message of thanks from King Edward for the address of condolence and congratulations.
Shortly after Parliament resumes steps will he taken towards an act making renewed provision for the Civil List following the death of the King.
