WANGANUI JOCKEY CLUB [By Telegraph—Presm Association! WANGANUI, This Day. The Wanganui Jockey, Club’s Summer Meeting opened to-day. The weather ! was showery in the morning but fine when the meeting started. The attendance is satisfactory and the track in excellent order. Results: — Westmere Hack Hurdles, of £llopone mile and four and a quarter furlongs—3 Gold Cure, 10.11 (A. McDonald) 1; 7 Earl Colossus, 9.0, 2; 1 Ruaform, 10.10, 3. All started. Won by three lengths, one and a half lengths. Time, 2.48 1-5. Ivai Iwi Maiden, of £80; six furlongs—--1 Supreme Court (C. Shield) 1; 6' Count Wiilonyx, 8.7, 2; 8 Alloa, 8.7, 3. Scratched: Airing. Won by a length, half a neck. Time, 1,14 1-5. Juvenile Handicap, of £100; six furlongs.—3 Imposture, 7.3 (J. Leach), 1; 1 Martinborough, 8.8, 2; 4 International, 7.7, 3. Scratched: Shemseh. Won by a length and a half, five lengths. Time, 1.13 4-5.
