PEARIFLE ACCIDENT
IN CHRISTCHURCH LABOUR GAINS (By Telegraph— Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, 2Stli January. One sitting member lost liis seat and Labour increased its representation on the board by three members at the triennial Drainage Board poll, which was held at Christchurch to-day. The Citizens’ Association now has live members. There are five Labour members and one independent. One seat on the hoard lias still to be contested at a bv-election.
