CRICKET
HOLIDAY MATCHES Advantage is being taken of the Anniversary Day holiday on Saturday to play two representative matches against Waimea and Motueka. Both matches will commence at 10 a.m. and the teams will be selected from the following. Players not available or any other players desiring a game are requested to communicate with either the selector or the secretary:— v. Motueka at Motueka : McGirr, R. Ralfe, Sandman, Lcuisson, Du Feu, Vass (2), Glover, Jones, Delaney, Karsten, Perry, Kinzett, Sexton, Gray. v. Waimea, at Wakefield: Newman (2), Busch, Simpson, McKay (2), Neale, Biggs, Winter, Mitchell, Blincoe, Smith, Brunette, Harris, T. Ralfe.
The Waimea team to play at Wakefield is as follows: D. and L. Max, T. and A. Baigent. Irvine (2), M. Fowler, M. Eden, M. Jenkins, H. McMurray, E. Rogers ; twelfth man, Baker.
