SUCCESS OF COMMUNISTS A TOWN CAPTURED GOVERNMENT SENDING REINFORCEMENTS

(Received 28th January, 12.5 p.m.) REKIN, 27th January. Communists under Hsiaokeli captured Wengan, in Kweichow, and threatened Kweiyuang, the capital of the province. Martial law has been proclaimed and defences erected.
The Government is sending reinforcements and aeroplanes to check the Red advance.
