MELBA BEQUEST SCHOLARSHIP VOICE WARMLY PRAISED United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) MELBOURNE, 15th February. Miss Hinemoa Rosier, a 20-year-old New Zealand girl won the Melba bequest scholarship from 1 tan entry of fifty. Twelve finalists faced the judges. Miss Rosier came from Auckland last February, studying at the Conservatorium for the special scholarship. Mr Fritz Hart, director of the C'onservatorium, described her voice as a dramatic soprano, the best at the Conservatoriam since Florence Austral.
