THEFT ADMITTED
PRISONER GRANTED PROBATION

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day,
Kenneth John Goad, who went to the police and confessed of having stolen two bicycles, appeared in the Supreme Court for sentence. Mr Justice Johnston said that it appeared that the prisoner was genuine in his desire to turn over a new leaf, and admitted him to probation for twelve months.
