VICTORIAN MEASURE LIMITED TO ONE. YEAR OWING TO DRASTIC NATURE (United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) MELBOURNE, 31st August. Mr ' Macfarlane, Attorney-General, states that the operation of the Bill relating to the activities of certain companies will be limited to one year because the legislation is drastic and designed to meet an emergency. The Bill comes before the Legislative Council next week.
