OBITUARY
' MR H. T, H. GRAVE (By Telegraph—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The death has occurred of Mr H. T. II Grave, aged 68 years, a well-known fire insurance adjuster in various parts of the Dominion. For a time be wrs chief inspector for the Standard Insurance Company, and also held positions at New Plymouth and Auckland. He was a prominent member of ihe Baptist Church and the first secretary oi the New Zealand Bible Training Institute. MR JOHN KENNEDY FORMERLY MAYOR OF GERALDINE CHRISTCHURCH, 31st August, The death has occurred at Hanmer Springs of Mr John Kennedy, aged 60 years, for many years Mayor of Geraldine and connected with several public bodies in South Canterbury. He took a keen interest in various sports and was president of the New Zealand Country Racing Clubs’ Conference last year, and at the time of his death was secretary of the New Zealand Athletic and Cycling Union.
