RETURN OF ELLSWORTH’S ’PLANE (By Telegraph—Press Association) AUCKLAND, This Day. Lincoln Ellsworth’s monoplane Polar Star, the same machine which was badly damaged last year on the eve of a projected flight across the Antarctic, returned by the Alonterey to-day. It will be picked up by the Wyatt Earp. Ellsworth is due on 10th from Honolulu. Berut Balehen, the pilot, who superintended the repairs, said it now had floats in addition to wheels and sins, so that it could be used as a. seaplane if necessary.
