SCRIPTURE EXAMINATIONS ' SUCCESSFUL NELSON CANDIDATES The forty-second annual Scripture examination of tlie Wellington Sunday School Union was held on 30th June, when 705 scholars from 70 schools competed. The number of schools was the same as in 1933, but there were 65 fewer scholars.- The percentage pf marks necessary to gain a prize is 80, and 154 scholars were successful in gaining this number or more. Second or third class certificates were won by 433 scholars, while 118 failed to gain the 40 per cent, of marks necessary for a pass.
