SOCIALIST LEADER’S WIDOW
A YEAR’S IMPRISONMENT CARRIED INTO COURTROOM (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 23rd April, noon) LONDON, 22nd April. The “Daily Herald’s” Vienna correspondent says that the widow of the socialist leader Wallisch was sentenced to a year’s imprisonment for giving food to Socialists during the lighting. Frau Wallisch, owing to the troubles through which she has passed, is now a physical wreck. Both legs are paralysized and she was carried into the courtroom.
