BULLER HOSPITAL
RELEGATION IN GRADE (By Telegraph—Press Association) WESTPORT, 18th April. Notification has been received by the Puller Hospital Board that the hospital has bqen reduced to B grade. At last night’s meeting of the hoard several members took strong exception to the regrading, stating that many highly-qualified nurses had been trained in the Buller Hospital. Under the new grading trainees are required to finish the last six months in ail A grade institution at the B grade hospital’s expense. Members considered that higher grade hospitals would benefit by cheap nursing from time to time, and might do away with some of the usual staff.
