LOYAL HOWARD LODGE.
The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Howard Lodge, M.U., 1.0.0. F., was opened by the N.G. Bro. G. L. liousiaux. A number of visitors were present, including Bro. Robertson, of the Loyal Marlborough Lodge. The visitors duly replied to the welcome extended. An invitation was received from the Loyal Moutere Lodge, to attend their anniversary social, to he held on 15th May. It was decided that the invitation he accepted and that as many members as possible attend. A challenge from the Loyal Nelson Lodge to a ritual contest was received and accepted. After tlie /main business was concluded, P.D.G.M. Bro. F. W. 0. Smith delivered a particularly interesting address on his travels abroad. BroSmitli was accorded a hearty vote of thanks, members expressing the hope that the Lodge would be favoured by similar addresses in the future. After Lodge, an enjoyable supper was handed round by the social committee.
