EMPLOYMENT FOR SINGLE MEN IN NEW SOUTH WALES (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 12th April, 9.55 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. " The Premier, Mr Stevens, announced an afforestation scheme designed to give continuous employment to 4,000 single men. Cabinet has made available £IOO,OOO for the initial cost of the work. One objective is to provide employment until the whole problem of giving protection to forest areas throughout the state lias been met.
