Y.M.C.A. DEFEATS HAMPDEN On Saturday the Y.M.C.A. tennis club’s B team defeated the Hampden club by 11 • sets, (93 games) to 9 sets (85 games). The results were as follows : Men’s Doubles—Hampden, 17 games, 2 sets; Y.M.C.A., 20 games, 2 sets. Ladies ’ Doubles Hampden, 12 games, 1 set; Y.M.C.A., 22 games, 3 sets. Combined Doubles (three rounds) — Hampden, 56 games, 6 sets; Y.M.C'.A 51 games, 6 sets. .Totals —Hampden, 85 games, 9 setsY.M.C.A., 93 games, 11 sets. The match was played on the Hampden courts and the ladies’ committee dispensed a very enjoyable afternoon tea.., . ' -
