EFFECT ON AUSTRALIAN RETAIL TRADE (United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 23rd December, 9.55 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Mr A. J. Sliand, secretary of the Master Butchers’ Association, stated that the export of chilled beef was certain to be commenced on a large scale during the next two years and consequently the retail trade throughout Australia would have to pay a higher price for its wholesale beef.
