The Bill permits the divorce of either party on any of the following grounds: Adultery, desertion for three years, cruelty, a certified lunatic for five years, or an incurable drunkard for at least three years, separation, or undergoing imprisonment under a commuted sentence. The Court is also empowered to presume death after seven years’ absence.
