RHODES SCHOLARSHIPS
CANTERBURY NOMINATIONS (By Telegraph—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, loth September. After considering nominations for Rhodes scholarships, the Canterbury College Professorial Board decided to forward to the final selection committee the names of all three applicants — Messrs A. 11. Andrews, E. H. Carew, and T. F. G. Milner, B.A. Mr Andrews and Mr Milner were applicants last year as well as this year, and Mr Andrews was nominated last year.
Nominations from each college have to be in the hands of tliel central authorities by 20th October; and the final selection for New Zealand will be made from these nominees before 81st December.
