ALSATIANS SHOT
CHASING COWS AND GOATS (By Telegraph—Preßß Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. Two full-grown Alsatians which got into a paddock with cows and Angora goats at Trentham yesterday worried one of the goats and were shot with the consent of their owners. The animals were chased by the dogs into a creek and the goat was ripped. There have been many complaints of sheep-worrying in the district lately, and it is stated that within the lust month 19 dogs (not Alsatians) were shot on one property alone.
