A WORD OF THANKS [To the Editor] ‘Sir, —Permit me through your paper to express our sincere thanks to all who have contributed to the running of the Soup Kitchen. The depot has now closed for this year. I would like specially to thank Mr Kingsland, of Wakefield, who acted as country representative and was responsible for the supply of a large quantity of meat and vegetables and fruit. Further I wor,ld sincerely thank Mr Ross and the local relief committee for their splendid assistance in the effort and now a big “Thank You” to the earnest band of workers who toiled faithfully throughout.—l am etc. MRS.
