TAX ON BACHELORS
(To the Editor) Sir, —The reported proposal to introduce a Bachelor’s Tax is one of the most sensible of the tax ideas. There are thousands of well-to-do bachelors who matrimonial obligations, and they can now be singled out for special duty.—l am etc., JOURNEY’S END. Nsl4on, 13th February.
