Ihe death has occurred of Sir John Quirk, a former member of Die Victorian i arlianicnl and one of the framers of tile l 1 cdei al Constitution. Later be was Postmaster-General in the Commonwealth Parliament and more recently deputy-president of the Commonwealth Arbitration Court. He was 79 years of age.
