TEA IN CHURCH

— When you go to the kirk in Glasgow on Sunday you can have a cup of tea and “a bite.” The churches at which the arrangement obtains are the few where services are still held in the forenoon and evening. Owing to tlio short time between the forenoon and afternoon services, and to the fuct that some of the church officers and congregation have long, distances to travel to their homes, tea and biscuits are provided in the interval. There is also in evidence a collection plate, so that those participators may contribute to the cost.
