DEATH SENTENCE
RAMEKA FOUND GUILTY
MURDER OF MRS JOHNSON (By Telegraph—Press Association) AUCKLAND, This Day. A verdict of guilty was brought in by the jury against Pahara Rameka Kere, alias George Rameka, for the murder of Mrs Gwendoline Alice Johnson at Randolph street, Newton, on 24th June. Sentence of death was pronounced bv Mr Justice Smith.
Asked if he had anything to say, Rameka made no response.
