STORMS IN ENGLAND
FLOODED ROADS
(British Official Wireless) RUGBY, sth August. Severe thunderstorms last evening were followed by exceptionally heavy rainfalls in many parts of the country, aiid low-lying villages in Wiltshire are flooded. Floods also occurred at Oxford, and many roads arc impassable. A number of motor cars arc stranded in flooded roads.
