AN AVIATION MUSEUM
NEW FEATURE FOR BERLIN, Tho latest museum for Berlin is one devoted to aviation alone. The building, whose plans are already finished, will be erected on the Tempolhof airdrome land with funds given for tlio purpose from German .and American private sources. The whole history of flying, with the originals of tho earliest machines, molors and models, will make tho collection one of tho greatest value to all airmen of tho future. There is to bo a court of honour containing busts and portraits of tho pioneers of modern aviation, and (hose distinguished for their work both in war and peace time. It lias been decided, to popularise the idea, that a restaurant to scat 1000 persons, and halls capable of accommodating members of future conference should be added. To intensify tho popular and national idea underlying (he whole a number of skittle alleys, 20 and more, will be added, skittles being still the natural accompaniment to beer whenever Germans forgather who are unspoilt by notions imported from abroad. Dr. Edioner lias been approached witli a view to handing over his Zeppelin museum at Fricdrichslmfen to the new Berlin foundation.
