ALLEGED THEFT
PARTNERSHIP MONEYS (By Telegraph—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, . This Day. • Twelve charges of stealing moneys totalling £lO5, between February, 1926, and December, 1930, from Munro and Hickinbottom, tailors, were made against Robert John Munro, aged 56 years, before the Magistrate, Mr Young. Munro pleaded not-guilty and was committed for trial. The police said that Munro, and Hickinbottom had carried on the business for many years in partnership. Either had been entitled to receive moneys for the firm and to pay them into a common account, it was alleged that Munro received moneys and converted them to his own use without entering them in the books.
