SIR GEORGE HADDON-SMITH (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, 18th June. Tho death is announced of Sir George Iladdon-Smith, aged G!> years, former Governor of Bahamas and Windward Islands. He 'was acting Governor at Gambia colony for a short time, and was for 11 years colonial secretary at Sierra Leone, acting as Governor of the colonv cm lnanv occasions.
