FREIGHT RATES TO UNITED KINGDOM
REDUCTIONS ANNOUNCED A short time ago the New Zealand Meat Producers Board announced a reduction in the shipping freight rate on tallow to the United Kingdom from L 4 per ton to £3 10s per ton as from Ist April, 1931- lh.? Board is now able to announce a further reduction iri the freight rale on tallow, the new rate (as from Ist July) being 67s 6d per ton. A reduction has also been made in the shipping freight on casings to the United Kb'frilmn from PXW to 90s per lon ns from the Ist .July., 1931. All rates named above are plus usual primage.
