(To the Editor) Sir, —I have been instructed to write you, re the paragraph which appeared in your issue of tiie 17th re the Association football match at Victory Square between Hospital and Thistle. While the Hospital team as a whole very much regret the incidents which happened in the game, I wish to, state that no apology was sent from our club to the Nelson Association for the action of our team in leaving the field of play. And we wish to state that the action of the captain of the team was quite justified under the circumstances.—l am. etc..
