EARTHQUAKE AT DARWIN

An earthquake at 10.10 o’clock on Saturday night startled the townspeople. Aborigines were terrified in their camps. There was no material damage. RIVERVIEW RECORD (Received 30th March, 10.5 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Riverview Observatory seismograph recorded a severe earthquake about 3000 miles from Sydney on Saturday night. It lasted several hours. The location is not yet known. The swing of the pens was over six inches.
