CAR GOES OVER BANK
A ZEEBR.UGGE HERO KILLED (By Telegraph—Press Association) WHANGAREI, This Day. William Samuel Newberry, a farmer of Parua Bay, was killed on Saturday night at W’aikaraka, six miles from V hangarei, when a car, of which he was the sole occupant, toppled over a bank. Deceased served aboard the Vindictive in the historic Zeebrugge raid. His widow is touring the United States. One soil, Reginald, a prominent vocalist, is undergoing a high grade musical training on the Continent. Another son resides at Whangarei.
