REFUGEES AT PALMERSTON
RACECOURSE CAMP BEING CLOSED (Hy Telegraph—Press Association) PALMERSTON N. : 23rri February. Awap'uni racecourse camp, which dealt with upwards of SCO refugees during the evacuation period, will probably be closed on Wednesday. One hundred refugees are proceeding to Stratford to-morrow. There are still 1100 at the showgrounds but the numbers are gradually being diminished.
