At the stadium Billy McAlister (Bst. 31bs) retained the bantam title of Australia against Teddy Green (Bst.) last night. The latter was game, but was outclassed. The bout was stopped in the twelfth round.
PARKER DEFEATS THOMPSON ISSUE NEVER IN DOUBT (By Telegraph—Press Association) OAMARU, This Day. At Ivurow on Saturday, Fred Parker (list 3Mb), defeated Tiger Thompson (list 31b) on points in a ten round bout. Parker’s punch was heavier throughout and the issue was never in doubt.
