George Fairbairn, a Cambridge undergraduate, left Hanworth for Australia at 8.30 this morning, calling at Lympne, and took off again, presumably for Paris. He is attempting to lower the record. (Received 21st February, 9.10 a.m.) PARIS, 20th February. Fairbairn arrived at Lyons last night. The weather is delaying his departure for Italy.
