FOR FLOCK HOUSE

BOVS BY RANGITATA

AUCKLAND, 19th February.

A party of British boys who are going to Flock House, and a number of domestic, workers for various parts of the Dominion, arrived by the Rangitata from Southampton to-night. Tiiere were 33 boys in the party for Flock House, their ages ranging from 14 to 17 years. They are all guaranteed employment on farms when they have completed their period of training at Flock House. They were under the care during the voyage of Mr L. J. Braimvell, a resident of l'Vdding, who has been touring abroad. Mr Bramwell said the boys were of a good type, and their conduct on the voyage had been exceedingly good. The domestics were accompanied by Matron N. Milner, who has been bringing out parties of girls to New Zealand for the past ten years. She spoke highly of the 20 girls who travelled by the Rangitata. These girls come from all parts of England, and there are one or two from Ireland and Scotland. All these girls are going to positions in various parts of the Dominion.
