OF BUYERS (United Prere Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 20th February, 9.15 a.m.) LONDON, 19th February. “The prosperity of one nation is the prosperity of another,” said Mr Gillett, Parliamentary Secretary for Overseas Trade, speaking at the foreign press luncheon at Olympia. “There was much talk before the war of German competition, but while Germany prospered so did Britain. Many look back on those as halcyon days. Prosperous China would greatly help world trade.” Mr Gillett stated that the number of both Home and foreign buyers visiting Olympia thus far was considerably above last year’s.
