WELCOME TO NEW ZEALAND (By Telegraph—Press Assaciation) WELLINGTON, This Day. The following telegram has been sent to Lord and Lady Baden-Powell by the Governor-General: “A lieartv welcome to New Zealand. The Boy Scouts and Girl Guides are a great asset to this Dominion in promoting among its young people those qualities of enterprise, resourcefulness, self-denial, and self-respect which so signally characterised its early pioneers, and without which no nation can maintain its vigour and prosperity, and no individual complete happiness.”
