(By Telegraph—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH. This Way. Leonard Smith was fined £SO in the Magistrate’s Court to-day for keeping a common gaming house. The police said he was in a fairly big way. PAHIATUA This Day. Joshua Joseph Swiggs was fined £SO for keeping a common gaming house at his residence for the purpose of a bookmaking agent. Mrs E. M. Bellshaw was fined £ls for using her shop as a gaming house.
