BUTTER EXHIBITS GOLDEN BAY IN PRIZE LIST (By Telegraph—Press Association) PALMERSTON N., Tins Day. High praise is accorded the butter exhibits in connection with the National Dairy Show, opening to-morrow, by judges'of the dairy division. Entries are in greater numbers than has been Iho case for quite a number of years, and the butter, which has been in cold storage for some four months, openel up in choice condition. In a number of classes two or more exhibits had to be joined for first place. The had a difficult task making awards. Factory managers, butter makers and suppliers are to be congratulated on the high quality of the produce. The awards were :

Box of butter, suitable for export — United 94.!,-, 3. There were 34 entries. Box of export butter, open to members of the Factory Managers' Association —Levin and Rongotea 96 (equal) 1; Mauriceville 95}, 2; Apiti, 94|, 3. There were 23( entries.

Box of butter, export, taken from, parcels prior to Government grading examination at any cool store —United 95, 1; Rangiwahia 94£, 2; Hinuera 94, 3. Sixteen entries.
