OPEN LETTER
TO MEMBERS OF NELSON HARBOUR BOARD * Gentlemen, —I have noticed that your chairman, Mr Duncan, was able to find time to carry on a rather prolonged controversy in this paper with Mr Standard. Would it be asking too much of that gentleman to request a reply to my letter, or have the casual watersidc’rs of Nelson to take from his silence that he is not interested in whether they,-got n fair doftl or not? I regret to say that it would seem so. Gentlemen, in the interests of the public who elected you, please give your attention to this matter. I am, etc., L. W. B. STOKES. Nelson, Ist June.
