Mr Hicks said that he was looking forward to the experience of playing in revue witii keen enjoyment. "Although "most people have probably forgotten it," lie said, "1 was the author, with Charles Brookfield, of what was really the first revue ever done in London. It was called "Under the Clock," and was staged at the 'Court Theatre. That was 30 years ago." Seymour Hicks was in New Zealand some years ago in "Sleeping Partners," "The Man in Dress Clothas," and other pieces.
