Captain Whitehouse (who was thought to be in New Zealand) called at Scotland Yard and gave all the information required in connection with the death of his wife, Mrs Carrie Whitehouse, who was found, partly dressed, in the open road at Gately, Manchester. There was no evidence of violence or foul play. Mrs Whitehouse lived alone in an agartmont house in Manchester.
